For these reasons, we use organic, fair trade sugar from Paraguay and intentional ingredients sourced locally.
Shelf stable products don’t require expiration dates because they won’t spoil until after they’ve been opened. However, we recommend eating them within three years of manufacture. After that, they may have a noticeable loss of flavor or color, but still be safe to eat. On the bottom of the jar, you can look to the first two numbers to tell you the year the product was produced. For example, 14100 would mean it was made in 2014 on the 100th day of the year. We also recommend eating them within a week of opening.
