Food By The Word LLC was established in September 2016 to glorify God 1st & always following Deuteronomy 14:3 and a simple focus: provide quality food products while operating with integrity, consistency, and a commitment to serving people well. In 2017, we became licensed and ServSafe certified, laying the operational foundation that would support our future growth.

What began as a catering-focused business has evolved significantly over the years.

Today, Food By The Word LLC has transformed into a diversified retail food products company with a growing e-commerce presence, an expanding consumer packaged goods (CPG) portfolio, and a developing restaurant and food service distribution platform. As market conditions changed and customer needs evolved, we adapted our business model to create greater value, broader reach, and stronger long-term sustainability.

In 2023, we officially secured our business certification as a Limited Liability Company (LLC), further strengthening our organizational structure and positioning the company for future opportunities. In 2025, we were honored to become a State of Indiana designated Buy Indiana Certified Vendor, reinforcing our commitment to supporting local commerce and contributing to the economic growth of our home state.

Looking back over the past decade, one thing is clear: growth is never accidental. It is the result of consistent effort, strategic decision-making, and a willingness to embrace innovation.

Today, Food By The Word is actively innovating within the retail food and consumer packaged goods industries in real time. We have developed a digital and e-commerce footprint that continues to expand and remains largely untapped, presenting significant opportunities for future growth.
